This activity is based on the film “Anastasia” (Disney, 1997). We tried to do a some activities related to the Russian history, art and culture always linking them to the film.

Before doing these activities, it is necessary that the pupils have watched the film at home or in class. We have done it this way and not the other way round because we think this will motivate them.

It is important that they learn with these activities but the most important thing is to have fun while learning. It is a form of learning something based on one of thing children like the most, films. This way they would be interested in the activities.

As a recommendation, we suggest you to go to the Prado Museum to the temporary exposition of “L´Hermitage”. There, there is a collection of painting of the Russian museum L’Hermitage that include pictures of the Russian royal house.
